What are your hours of operation?

We are open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday for telephone inquiries and website/email contact, Saturday 8:00am-12:00noon for website/email correspondence.

Can I tow one of your trailer rentals myself?

To ensure you have totally hassle-free camping experience, we insist on doing all the work so you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest.

When is check-out time for EZ Camper?

Check-out time is at 10:00 am for your EZ Camper. The campground may have a different check-out time, but EZ Camper needs the time to pack-up your camper and take it to the next family for their vacation. Please check your contract for fees if you have not checked out by 10:00am

When is check-in time for EZ Camper?

You can check-in as early as 3:00 PM and at your convenience. All of our camper suites are key coded in advance with the last 4 digits of your booking telephone number. Please plan on enjoying other OBX activities until your check-in time.

Can I change my campground or site reservations before my check-in date?

Yes, but you must ensure that the new location meets the minimum standards of the camper suite rented (pull through requirement, length requirement, 30amps or 50amps).  Any changes made to either the campground or site location need to be communicated via e-mail to nicole@ezcamperobx.com immediately to ensure that your suite is delivered to the correct location and that the camper suite you have reserved will be able to fit in the new location and will have the correct electrical hook-up amps.  Any camp site reservation changes must be sent in writing 7 – 14 days prior to arrival and confirmed with EZ Camper OBX. No refunds will be issued if you are unable to enjoy your camper suite vacation because you changed your site and the camper suite cannot be accommodated in your new site.  Other accommodations will not be made by EZ Camper OBX.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

If the reservation is cancelled 60 days or more before arrival, customer’s deposit (50% of rental), will be refunded minus a 10% penalty.  If cancelled within 30-59 days before arrival, customer’s deposit (50% of rental) will be refunded minus a 20% penalty.  If you must cancel your reservation 29 days or less before arrival all monies collected for your reservation will not be refunded.  However, we will do our best to re-rent the camper suite for the time period you have reserved.  If re-rented, all monies will be refunded for your reservation minus a 5% administrative charge for our rebooking fee.  All cancellations requests must be in writing to EZ Camper OBX by the person who signed the reservation contract (email amy@ezcamperobx.com or fax 866.276.7828).  We apologize for any inconvenience.

What happens when an Evacuation Order is made for where my Campground is located?

Do you have a Wait List if a Date I want is Booked?

Yes.  Please call our office and we will add your name to the Wait List and will call you immediately with any cancellations or if another camper suite becomes available for your dates of interest.

Adjustments and Compensations

In case of any breakdowns or malfunctioning of our equipment, customer needs to get an approval for reimbursement from EZ Camper OBX before any compensation will be awarded. No compensation will be given without approval. Adjustments and compensations – if approved – will be issued in form of Gift Certificates for future rentals only. No cash refunds or adjustments.

What is your return policy?

Return the camper in the same condition in which you received it. No refunds for trailers that are returned early. The camper must be in broom clean condition.

What is provided with your Camper Suites?

The following amenities are provided to you, free of charge:

  • Plates, bowls, eating utensils, mugs and drinking glasses
  • Pots and Pans
  • Pillows, linens and sheets for all beds
  • One set of towels for each bed/person
  • Starter kits for Camper tissue paper, paper towels and garbage bags
  • Quick cleaning supplies, including broom and mop
  • Outdoor rug, 4 camp chairs
  • Keurig Coffee Maker

We do charge a $20.00 fee for extra linens. Please request when making your reservation.

Entertainment packages are also available for an additional fee.

Do you allow pets on in your campers?

Yes! We encourage our customers to bring their pets to maximize family fun. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring a pet. You are responsible for any cleaning charges related to getting the trailer back to its original condition. The best way to avoid additional charges is to return the trailer clean. We have had customers that insist on paying in advance for damages and cleaning for a flat fee. In this case, your rental will be declined. Pets, if left alone, must be secured in crates. Damages caused by dogs might be very expensive. Please contact us for further guidance and information. Two pet maximum.

Do you deliver campers?

Yes, that is what we do! Standard delivery, setup, and pickup for the campgrounds on and near the Outer Banks.  Have a favorite campground near, but not sure about the distance? Please request a quote online or call us at 844-4EZ-CAMP.  Some campgrounds may have a small additional drop-off and pick-up service charge due to distance, please inquire at the time of reservation.

What are your rates and general policies?

Our rates can be found on our Rates & Reservations page. Or give us a call at 844-4EZ-CAMP and we will be more than happy to discuss our policies and answer any questions you may have.

Do your camper suites have hot water & showers?

We offer full service camper suites.  All of our suites are full service with bathrooms, hot showers and full electric.  There is no “ruffing” it at EZ Camper OBX.

How long are your camper suites?

We have 3 camper suites to choose from – the 42ft Heartland Gateway, the 32ft Holiday Rambler and the 28ft Keystone Passport.

What if I arrive and something is damaged?

We try to make sure everything is in top shape prior to your arrival. We ask that you inspect your Camper Suite upon check in and inform us immediately if you see any damages or anything in non-working order. Contact information for reporting damages is in your contract, as well as a note left for you inside the Camper Suite.

What if I damage something by accident during my stay?

We hope that doesn’t happen but we understand that accidents do occur. Please inform us immediately and let us know in detail what occurred and what was damaged. We will send someone to inspect the damage and will inform you of any costs that may incur with the damage. We also have an “OOPS” form inside each camper that you can complete and leave with the camper suite on check-out.

What if my friends want to come and rent a camper from you too?

We would love that! Just have them visit our website to check for available campers during your vacation week or they can call or email us. If they are coming with you, make sure you tell the campground to reserve two or more spots together for your vacation. We can’t do that part for you.

Do I have to wash the sheets and towels before I check-out?

We are happy to take care of all of your linens prior to and after your stay with us. We only ask that you place all of your used towels and washcloths in the bathroom prior to checking out.

Do I have to clean the Camper Suite before I check-out?

We would like for you to dispose of any food items in the refrigerator and leave the camper in a clean “broom swept” condition.

Do the EZ Campers have TV’s in them?

All of the EZ Campers have HDTV’s in the living space.

Is the campground site included in the price of the camper?

No, you must book your campground site. We want you to be able to be where you want to be so we ask that you book your campground site before booking with us. You will need the size of the camper prior to booking to ensure you get the correct sized site. (42ft Heartland Gateway, the 32ft Holiday Rambler and the 28ft Keystone Passport)
